Important Dates

Paper Submission

Prospective authors are asked to electronically submit an abstract version of their contributions with a maximum length of 1000 words including only one image. This image is recommended to be a graphical abstract that summarizes the contribution.

After abstract acceptance, authors will be asked to upload an extended paper version of a maximum length of 6 pages. A selection of the 

best extended papers will be published in a book.

Best papers extended versions

CCIS-logo

An extended version of the best papers presented at the workshop will be eligible for publication in a book at the  Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) series published by Springer. These contributions will undergo a peer review process. Author registration to the conference is required for accepted papers to be included in the proceedings.

Best student paper award

The AAPS24 Best Student Paper award recognizes excellence in a paper presented at the workshop whose primary author is a student at t

he time of submission. In order to be eligible, the candidate must:

  • be the primary author of a paper accepted for presentation at AAPS24
  • be a student (PhD, Master or Bachelor student) registered at an academic institution
  • present the paper at the conference 

All students attending the workshop and submitting an extended version to be published in the proceedings will participate in the competition. 

This initiative is supported by the ELLIS Unit Madrid to provide visibility to the work done by young researchers.
